JEP COMPASSIONATE HANDS
JEP Compassionate Hands (JCH) is a female-founded, community-based non-profit registered with Community Development Services and based in Rugendabara-Kikongo Town Council, Kasese District. Founded in 2025 by three women united in diaspora with a shared vision to cause change at home, JCH works to empower women, orphaned and vulnerable children (OVC), and young girls across the Rwenzori sub-region - a region confronting high fertility rates, youth unemployment, poor sanitation, food insecurity, and climate vulnerability.
JEP Compassionate Hands (JCH)'s approach is grassroots, volunteer-driven, and rooted in the belief that women's agency is the most powerful lever for holistic community development.

Real change, real lives
JEP Compassionate Hands makes a profound difference in the Rwenzori region. Annually, we support over 200 children with essential scholastic materials, ensuring they have the tools to learn and grow. We've also facilitated vocational skills training for 16 widows who survived the Rwenzururu palace attack, empowering them with new opportunities and independence. These are just some examples of the positive changes we bring, fostering hope and resilience in the heart of our community.
